Dr. Prince always shows his concern for an animal’s welfare no matter how challenging the circumstances.
Our feral cat, Maui, needs preventative health care the same as any domestic cat. Yet over the years he has grown increasingly difficult to handle outside of our home setting.
When he needs to get his vaccinations Dr. Prince puts on his thick leather gloves, a determined face, and a little smile and knows that his day has just gotten a little more interesting! Maui hisses, growls, claws, and bites, but Dr. Prince treats him with patience and kindness while getting the job done. It would be so easy to say “We just can’t handle that cat” and send us elsewhere but Dr. Prince welcomes Maui to the clinic the same as he would any mild-mannered kitty.
He wants Maui to receive the best care he can provide and we appreciate that. Maui means the world to our family and I’m so happy that we have found a vet who is willing to work with him.
