McMinnville resident Lucienne Poff and her dog Mimi
“Mimi had sores on her stomach. I was going to another veterinarian in town and for several months they couldn’t figure out what was wrong.
“I decided I would get a second opinion, so I went to Companion Pet Clinic of McMinnville. Dr. Sears looked at her, listened to me, and suggested that I have some tests run.
“That’s when we found out that it was a type of skin cancer. I was devastated. She’s everything to me. He removed the skin cancer in two separate surgeries, and we’ve healed it. I was elated. I owe my dog’s life to him.
“I am so grateful that I still have my dog.”
